Fishing on Woman Lake

Woman Lake is widely considered one of the region’s major fisheries by experienced anglers. It has abundant structure including many rock sand points, bays and deep holes that challenge all anglers. It is home to excellent populations of walleyes, smallmouth, bass, northern, muskie, and panfish. Woman Lake is one of the few remaining natural reproducing walleye lakes in the state. Along with the yearly stocking program by the DNR and Woman Lake Association, Woman Lake’s walleye fishing is as good as it has ever been.

Fall fishing, combined with miles of forest trails for hunting make Woman Lake Lodge an excellent vacation.
